BioBox Analytics is an early-stage startup that is building a data analytics platform for scientists and clinicians working with next-generation sequencing (NGS) data. Scientists can process, analyze and explore their data from start to finish without advanced coding expertise and accelerate their time to scientific outcomes.
Christopher Li, is the CEO of BioBox Analytics. Prior to BioBox, Chris was completing his Ph.D. in Laboratory Medicine at the University of Toronto. His research largely focused on deciphering transcriptional regulatory networks through applied machine learning. During this time, Chris experienced first hand the challenges that bioinformatics have created in life science research. After building some internal tools to help colleagues, Chris saw how software can transform and aid modern biologists in their research. Determined to solve this problem, Chris founded BioBox Analytics in 2019, with a singular mission: Build a platform that supports life science research projects, from start to finish, and accelerate modern biological research.
